Post A Prayer was started in 2004. In 2009 it became a non-profit corporation, and in 2011/2012 the site was revamped and redesigned. It originally started as a prayer website for one type of religion, however, Post A Prayer did not want to be boxed into serving one set of religion and decided to serve all major religions with online prayer options. The site is a multi-faith prayer center.
